Los Angeles City Council Chambers
The City of
Los Angeles Information Technology Agency operates LA Cityview, offering
broadcasts of city council and commission meetings, special events and
instructional materials for the public and City departments and staff.
As part of a larger modernization project, it was necessary to rebuild
the City Council Chambers system, and upgrade to HD. The unique
challenge was to complete all on site construction within a twenty one
calendar day window over the year end holidays. BFA was part of
a City engineering team that included Architects, Electrical,
Structural and IT engineers, tasked with planning and executing the
project in an historic building. BFA provided design, project management
and commissioning services on behalf of the City.
